It's the nature of a cooperative venture like a Role Playing game to blur
the lines of who is more important than who. The easy answer is that
everyone is. This is a place where honesty, trust, and cooperation comes
into play. Each person has their character. To them, and rightly so,
that is the most important character. The thing to remember is that the
same goes with everyone else's characters'. See if you can go with the
flow, others will follow the example.
Everyone being the main character in their eyes is is one of the reasons
that, while death is a very real thing in the setting of the game, that it
doesn't necessarily need be common for the Player Characters. Awful
boring to play a dead character. The novelty of posing them laying there,
slowly decomposing, becomes old rather quickly.
