Jupiter's Children is designed as a mixture of Pulp Comic, Super Hero RPG,
Noir, Dark Irony, and Maturity. Players should app characters they
will be comfortable playing in that environment (whether the /character/
is comfortable with the theme is another matter entirely :). Note that
because traits are easily modified by the players, it is quite easy to
change a character if the player feels it to be needed. What happens with
the kind of RP you put those characters through depends on your own
preferences and of those whom you play with. The main point is for
everyone to have fun, but not at the expense of others! :)
having a staff that will frown down upon them. The choice is up to the
players if their characters will act out a scene with a mature
orientation... or not. The players are given the chance to try out a
range of possabilities that would be denied in other games. Players can
express their characters without censoring their role play or actions.
And, more importantly, players will not be looked down upon, chastized or
otherwise berated for choosing to play out mature/adult situations.
We will look down on, chastize and berate people for playing Toon
characters, though. Common. That's just silly!
