Most games define TS, or Tiny Sex, to be any role play that involves a sexual element. Here, it is defined as role play that occurs /only/ for the sexual element. Some people enjoy that, wishing only to get their jollies off. But that sort of TS isn't what this game is about. Role Play can involve sex and mature elements without being driven by them.Sex, Peril, Bondage, etc can be played out here, and in many ways that level of maturity is what gives this game an extra appeal to many that come here.
But that does not make the game sin city. Don't expect to have characters boinking, or even torturing, each other in the middle of a busy street without some sort of interference. It is, however, a game where those things that are so often ignored or passed over in RP at other games to maintain a rating do not have to be. Much like mature Japanese animation, there can be sex, excessive violence and demonic tentacle things but those perversions aren't the main, driving element of those movies (or, at least, not the *only* elements...). They have plots, goals the characters want to acheive, with obsticals and enemies to get into their way. Hopefully we can avoid the cheesy dialog, though. :)
Basically, if you can find people to RP it with, then it's fine to RP it. Just be mindful of those things that are illegal in RL will tend to be illegal ICly as well. But, most importantly, be polite to other players OOCly. That means that it's important not to make the assumption that just because /you/ enjoy something, everyone else does. So keep anything explicit in private, or at least untravelled areas. Likewise, players should try to avoid stumbling through rooms where play is being ran. @tel is open to everyone, and is a handy way to avoid passing through rooms.
What's the official word on TS? Well, using the above definition, TS is pretty much ignored by the staff. If players want to stick to private rooms and explore their fantasies with each other all the time, it's none of our business. While, we'd rather they're out there having fun RPing with lots of other places to help keep the game hopping, we're not going to police people's behavior. That's just not the kind of place Jupiter's Children is.
If players want to TS, they can. If the players want a villian to torture the captive hero, they can. If the players want a hero to crack under the pressure and go wacko, they can. If the players want to explore romantic comedy... they can.
As long as the players do so politely, maturely, and with respect to the other players... it's all good.
