Space Building Building Space areas and stuff build space

The first thing that might be noticed is that there's no code for a space
grid, no coded vehicles, or any coded combat system. All that
was deliberately ignored for this game in order to concentrate on the more
role-play centric factors.

The number of rooms devoted to an area is the same as in space as it
is in other circumstances... It depends on how busy it is likely to be
and how likely there will be simultaneous scenes occurring. Even when
it comes to the Planet, areas shouldn't be built unless they're likely
to be used. If there's five cities between the one play area and
another then a single room can be used to represent the transit
between them.

The same holds true for the contents of a planetary system... One does not
need to build a room for every moon's orbit, for every station, for every
major city and asteroid, etc. Detail the areas that are going to be used
the most, then expand as needed. Concentrating the interest of the
players on the built area is an easy process of focusing on those areas in
the descriptions. Similar to how the author of a novel will detail the
areas important to the story without more than glossing over, if that,
extrainious places. Well, most authors. :)
