Reston -- Reston Township: Crossroads
Marigold Mall is in a fairly nice neighborhood, though close to one of
the superhighways. With the generally upscale tone of the nearby Tinseltown, Marigold Mall is in a fairly nice neighborhood, though close to one of
it's a popular place for hanging out. But the Mall is across the street.
Reston Crossroads is a shopping center just as nice, with lots of wood trim
and well-cleaned glass, that fronts a fairly pleasant park with some wooded
areas and lots of play sets for kids. Nearby are a couple private schools,
as well as their dorm houses, and a number of apartments that have sneaked
their way between the various mansions and expensive houses.
The shopping center itself is crowded with stores that can't manage the
expense of the nearby enclosed mall, but still want some of the location that the busy nearby streets provide. Crossing the street between shopping
center and mall can be dangerous at the best of times, and the best of times
is a ten minute window around midnight. The streets that branch out from
here, though four lanes, are much more residential.
Serenity
This petite girl, barely over four feet in height, is often thought to be
younger than she is due to her general thinness and small stature. She has This petite girl, barely over four feet in height, is often thought to be
hair that is shaded a bright lavender that matches her eyebrows, giving a
sign that it is most probably natural. Also of odd coloration is the
glittering red of her eyes, the irises seeming to shine with an inner light,
combining with the depths of her narrow pupils to captivate with ease. A
rarity in California, her complexion very pale, without even the hint of a
tan. Her hair is cut short, styled in an elegant series of sculpted waves
that accent her pointed chin and quirky smile. Her figure is quite pleasing
when she cares to show it, proving that while she may be the size of a much
younger girl, she has curves in all the right places to prove her maturity.
She is wearing an exquisitely fashioned school uniform that fits her
curves with the perfectly tailored combination of comfort and snugness that never comes off a rack. The white silk blouse, accented with black and gold
trim, is tucked in at her waist where her red satin skirt starts over. The
hem ends a bit high, but from there her legs are covered with striped
thigh-high stockings in the school colors. The curves of her chest are
further accented on either side by the black suspenders that are part of the
junior girl's uniform at Aspen.

by short brown hair. She stands only 4'7" tall, and that's with her high This girl looks maybe close to 15 years old, her big yellow eyes framed

Her ample breasts are barely contained within a black-and-yellow tight
latex top with thin straps over her shoulders. It's more of a bikini top, triangles of rubbery material stretched over her chest with a little zipper
between them. Her slender arms are bare, with the except of a pair of latex
yellow bands over her elbows with black patterns on them. From just beneath
her breasts to her hips, her slim torso is bare.
A short black skirt with a few yellow stripes is worn low on her hips,
barely hiding her crotch and ass; when it reveals what's underneath, she's not wearing any panties -- completely bare beneath that skirt. A pair of
yellow latex stockings with occasional black stripes hug her legs from
mid-thigh down to her feet -- on which she wears a pair of translucent
yellow high heels, with heels around four inches in height.

It's late evening, shortly after sundown. Rapidly becoming one of
Serenity's favorite times of the day. Despite reston being a relatively safe part of LA, it's still not the best time for a girl to be alone. Despite
that, the petite girl is staying more in the shadows then the light. Perhaps
trying not to invite attention? There's little enough attention to invite,
anyway. The street is fairly sparse, with most people at the strip mall or
wandering around the park.
Hadeya is looking a little forlorn and lost as she wanders, looking
around and trying her best not to take steps that are big enough to lift her skirt too much.. She wishes he'd left her some of her money, or... or
something, anything. But, unfortunately, she has nothing but the (skimpy)
clothes on her back.
A bit of movement catches Serenity's attention, almost filed away and
ignored except that there seems to be a startling amount of skin. She considers a moment, wondering if that's one of the girls from the school on
a dare or something. Even with her unnaturally sharp vision she can't make
out features. "Any girl brave enough to dress like that must be a friend of
Kira's," she murmurs to herself. Or a victim. After a moment's reflection,
she decides to find out. If it is some poor girl being hazed by Kira, well,
the two of them aren't on the best of terms anyway. So anything to irk Kira
is worth doing, in her book.
The small girl walkes behind a tree and, with only a soft noise like the
snapping of fingers, vanishes. Only to reappear much closer to the other girl. And pauses once more, more than a little surprised now that she can
plainly see that outfit. "Wow."
Hadeya is still walking -- and then she gasps when she hears someone,
spinning around to face her quickly. (Which gives the gir a glimpse of herbare crotch, of course) "Wh.. who... ah.." she blushes and pulls down her
skirt a little, gulping. "Who are you?" she asks quietly.
Serenity bites her lip and steps back. There's a blush to her cheeks from
what she saw, and with her vision she saw it not only as plain as day, but as if she were only a few feet away. Most people could pass it off, thinking
'naw, couldn't have been', but Renna doesn't have that choice. "I... uh..."
Usually quite brazen and outspoken, Serenity has her words stolen from her
as she keeps seeing "something unexpected" in her mind's eye. "Serenity?"
her voice has a lilt to it at the end.
Hadeya hesitates and looks at Serenity carefully, then pauses and isn't
sure what to say. Finally she says quietly, "M.. my name is... H-Hadeya...."Serenity's blush is noticeable even in the dim light at this part of the
street. It's obvious she got a good look. "Um... Hi?" She clears her throat and visibly collects herself. "I thought at first you might be from Aspen.
Being hazed or something. But I don't recognize you." One of her hands is at
her side, toying with her skirt. Then, a little braver, "it's really nice to
see someone my height."
Hadeya gulps and blushes, smiling slightly, "Ah..." she nods, "I-I'm...
not used to this height," she mumbles, then asks, "What's... where's A-Aspen?"
The other girl waves a hand, indicating the property the school owns down
the street. All that can be seen from this distance is a vague impression of a high wall and a few trees with lights in the distance. Of course, that
description works for half the homes in the area as well. "It's a school,"
she adds. "All girls." It seems for a moment she was about to add something,
but visibly restrained herself. "Umm... you look real uncomfortable."
Hadeya pauses and nods, "I..." she gulps, realizing that not only does
she need clothing, but she's half-starved. "D-do you know... where I can get something to eat?" she asks really quietly, almost in a whisper.
"Yeah... There's a couple restaurants still open at the strip mall." She
hesitates a moment, then makes up her mind. "Here, take this..." Her hand squeezes under her skirt and she pulls a string, then undoes the otherside.
A moment later she's holding out a pair of bikini panties. Surprisingly,
they're quite racy: blank and orange stripes, and with only 1/4 coverage
they're mostly string. "Kinda weird, I know," she blushes. "But better than
nothing."
Hadeya aahs softly and blushes, taking the panties after a short while.
"Th.. thanks..." she hesitates and then nervously slides them up over her crotch, squirming a little. She blushes deeper, "Thank... you."
"You don't look like you have a purse or anything," Serenity notes as she
looks away. Not that it helps much, she can hear every movement. She bites her lip for a moment. But can't seem to settle on what to say.
Hadeya gulps, "I..." she squirms, "I-it was stolen."
That derails Serenity's thoughts. Thankfully. "Oh. I'll go with you
then." She turns back to the other girl, wishing for a moment she had a That derails Serenity's thoughts. Thankfully. "Oh. I'll go with you
jacket or something. She's starting to feel oddly chivalrous.
Hadeya smiles a little, "Ah... th... thanks..." she waits for the other
girl to lead the way, "But... but just something little..." Serenity walks towards the strip mall. It's only once they've taken a few
steps that she realizes with her blouse, she could have loaned the other girl her skirt and still be more covered than she is. Err. Oh, well. Then
she realizes something else. Stolen purse plus near-naked girl could mean...
She whirls around to face the other girl again. "Oh my gosh, they didn't...
/do/ anything to you?"
Hadeya blinks -- "Aah..?" Then she shakes her head, blushing, "N.. no,
no, I... I think I was... l.." she just shakes her head again, smiling weakly. "He did, but... n... nothing l-like that..."
To say the least, the other girl is puzzled. But she's fairly bright, and
experienced in unusual ways. "Wait... you said something about your height?" She steps a bit closer, nose crinkling as she breathes in the scents around
the other girl.
Hadeya blushes and nods, "Y... yeah..." she gulps, wondering whether she
should tell you or not... "He... ch... changed me..." Serenity considers that a moment. "Oh." She purses her lips. She has an
understanding of involuntary changes, though at least hers are self inflicted. "That must be... pretty freaky." Perhaps not quite the words of
support and wisdom she meant, but she tried.
Hadeya nods. "Y... yeah... i-it's weird...
Hadeya whines, "And I can't... walk without these heels."
Again, Hadeya manages to say something that derails Serenity's thoughts.
She can't help but giggle a little, quickly raising a hand over her mouth. Hadeya whines, "And I can't... walk without these heels."
Again, Hadeya manages to say something that derails Serenity's thoughts.
"Sorry," she mumbles, blushing, "I couldn't help it."
Hadeya nods, "I-it's... no problem." She squirms, moving around a little
uncomfortably, stomach grumbling. "Nngh.. do you think... um... f.. food?" she blushes.
"Oh, right. Right." Still blushing a little, Serenity turns back towards
the strip mall and starts to walk. A little slowly out of consideration for those heels. She starts to hold her hand out for the other girl to take,
hesitates, and lets her fingers drop again. "I... can understand the change
thing," she says. "I kinda had to go through something like that. Maybe."
Hadeya gulps and nods, "Aah.. s... so you were changed... too?" she asks,
these panties still a bit.... weird. Serenity nervously toys with a lock of her hair. "I wasn't changed, not
by someome else at least," she explains. Or tries to. She wants to avoid specifics. "My body changed on its own. The Jupiter thing I guess. It was...
kinda traumatic. I'm still learning how to deal with it... them. The
changes. It doesn't help that... certain things can force me. Make it harder
to resist."
Hadeya blinks and she thinks for a moment, "J.. jupiter...?"
"I was born with the blue hair and red eyes," Serenity explains,
shrugging. "The rest of it finally caught up with me a couple years ago." "I was born with the blue hair and red eyes," Serenity explains,
She glances over at the other girl. "Ummm... there's something I should
probably tell you, in case we run into any other girls from Aspen."
Hadeya blinks. "Ah...? Aspen?" she asks, tilting her had.
"Yeah... the school is an all-girls school," Serenity explains. "With
real strict rules about dating. And since almost all the girls are rich, "Yeah... the school is an all-girls school," Serenity explains. "With
spoiled, hedonists... Ummm. Lots of lesbians. So don't be surprised if you
attract a lot of attention."
Hadeya nods a little; she'd thought she might want to go there, because
of rooms and food and... but well, with that knowledge, she decides it'd be... too much of a hassle anyway. To get in and all. "Nnh... r.. right."
"I guess being with me will help," Serenity contiues. Again, she's
blushing a little. "I'm known for being..." she frowns. "Maybe that won't help. Umm. Nevermind. I've no clue." Now she's starting to ramble a bit.
"Umm... Well. I'm one too. But I've been steady with my girlfriend for
almost three years now," she hurridly adds, "so I wouldn't think of hitting
on you."
Hadeya giggles a little shyly.. she blushes still, of course, but she
nods too, "S... sure," she says. She asks, "Do... the people in the school come out to this mall... often...?" She looks around for people wearing
uniforms.
The school uniforms are pretty easy to spot. Just look for girls dressed
like Serenity. Theres a few still chatting at the park, and small clumps of them about the strip mall. There's not a lot of them, but the school girls
easily make up at least a fouth of the pedestrians in the area. Probably
more at the real mall down the street. "Yeah," says Serenity. "It's pretty
popular since there's not a whole lot to do in the neighborhood..." She
shrugs. "Rich girls and shopping, you know?"
Hadeya nods a bit, "Nnh.. y... yeah..." she suddenly feels a bit
uncomfortable and wraps her arms over chest, very grateful for the panties, even if they are... well... previously enjoyed. "Th.. thanks for the
panties," she murmurs and asks softly, "Where... where're we getting the
food from?"
"Probably the italian place... They don't let boys hang out there, so the
girls usually don't crowd the place." She smirks. "Not real lesbians, I guess. Just horny and bored." Serenity looks at the other girl. "If you
don't want to go... I can get the food and bring it to you?"
Hadeya giggles and then says, "Ah -- n.. no, I couldn't let you... I
mean, you're already paying... I-I'll... come with you," she says, blushing. "It's the least I can do..."
They're getting close to the strip mall and its lighted parking lot now
and starting to gather a few looks. Most people look away, assuming from their height that they're just a couple pre-teens wandering around. "I'll
make sure they don't do anything to you." Serenity smiles, the expression
lighting her face with more warmth than the nearby street lamp. "You might
not be my girlfriend in the way /they/ might think, but I'll still kick the
ass of anything that bothers my friend."
Hadeya smiles a bit and nods, "Ah -- th.. thanks... thank you," she
giggles quietly again, following your along towards what she only knows so far as 'the italian place'. She looks around and asks quietly, "Ah... you
don't think... anyone WILL bother us, do you?"
"Well... a few of the girls are pretty aggressive," Serenity admits. "But
the only one to really worry about is this real slut named Kira. She has a way of getting under a girl's skin--and her clothes--and is real dominant."
There's a wealth of meaning in her tone, along with an undercurrent that
seems at odd with Serenity's general demeanor. A sense of some sort of
hunger mixed with abject embarrasment.
Hadeya pauses and blushes a little, nodding, "R.. right." she looks
around a little, still following, "Um, so, do you think... we'll have to worry about her showing up around here? Kira, I mean," she asks, still in
her quiet tone.
"Don't know," Serenity admits. "I didn't see her earlier, but I wasn't
paying much attention." The two are most of the way across the parking lot, angling for the full service Italian place. It's usually not frequented by
the Aspen girls; not because they can't afford it but because it doesn't
allow boys to loiter. Serenity figures it's the best place decrease Hadeya's
exposure to her classmates. Besides, she's hungry for a calzone. "Kira and I
may not like each other much," she continues, quieter herself. "But we
generaly don't get in each other's way."
Hadeya nods again, "Well... I hope if she shows up she doesn't cause any
trouble," she says softly, seeing the restaurant now -- well, she thinks it is, anyway. "Is... is that the restaurant up there?" she points to it, not
sure what else to say about Kira.
"The thing that gets me," Serenity rattles on, "is that she can be real
nice when she's not being a bitch." From her tone, Kira does overtime as the latter. "Yeah, that's it." She holds her hand out for Hadeya as she starts
up the short embankment between parking lot and the strip-mall's covered
walkway.
Hadeya hesitates and decides to take Serenity's hand as she follows her
to the restaurant and asks quietly, "Is... is Kira really that bad?" She's getting a little nervous, because from what she's heard, she seems like some
crazy terrible (and horny) person.
"Guess it depends on if you want to be some domineering girl's sex
slave." She shrugs a bit. "She doesn't seem to have any trouble finding more... victims." She opens the door with her free hand, leading Hadeya
inside. And just glares at the hostess if she so much as tries to say
something about how Hadeya is dressed. She still has shoes and a shirt...
Somewhat.
Hadeya gacks. "S.. sex sl.." she squirms uncomfortably as she follows
inside, "You... um... th-that was a j.. joke or something, right?" she almost whispers.
Serenity blushes bright red as the hostess suddenly has the wrong idea
about the relationship between the two girls. She ends up glaring at the woman for a different reason entirely. "Two. Non-smoking. A booth would be
great." Glare glare glare.
Hadeya wishes she'd responded, but she follows her on into the booth once
they'd been led towards it. She sits down, not saying anything as she peeks into the menu, trying to find something that'll fill her up but won't be
expensive..
Unfortunately, the prices are far above fast food, though when it comes
to a bistro quite reasonable. Serenity, it seems, was waiting until the hostess was gone before answering. "Sorry, wasn't a joke," she tells the
other girl. "She doesn't run around in leather carrying a whip or
anything--at least not that I've seen--but she's definitely into it."
Hadeya eeps and blushes, squirming a bit as she tries to figure out what
to get. "So... does... does she have many?" she asks softly, "S.." she hesitates, "S-sex slaves, I mean," she adds just as quietly, hoping nobody
hears her as she looks around for anyone nearby.
The other girl shrugs. "I'm not actually sure. A few, I'd guess. And a
lot of the girls in her dorm are into that sort of thing. She's on the student council and is the dorm rep so its pretty much run how she wants.
You should try the calimari, they make it just right here. Not overcooked
and all rubbery like so many other places. And I recommend anything with
sausage. Their Italian sausage is as good as being in Italy."
Hadeya nods a bit as she listens, finding it just slightly odd how the
other girl put those two... conversation topics together. She nods, "I... I'll try the calamari, I guess," she says softly, blushing, "I'm s-sorry if
I'm trouble, for someone you... who's just met me..."
Serenity shakes her head. "It's not any trouble. And it's real nice
talking to someone that's not from Aspen." She smiles. "Don't get me wrong, I have some real good friends there. But they..." She purses her lips
slightly, then shrugs. "They can't understand the kind of things that we've
gone through." Then she leans across the table, reaching out to give
Hadeya's nose a gentle poke, "The calimari is just an appitizer. You'll have
to eat more than that."
Hadeya ahs and blushes a little, "Ah... nn.. right." She nods a bit,
looking in through the menu and then looks up at Serenity again, "I-I don'tknow. I guess I'll just have... um... whatever you'll have?" she asks softly.
The decision, or lack of one, has good timing for the waitress appears a
few moments later. Serenity rattles off an order for the both of them... or maybe three people. There seemed to be an awful lot. A moment is taken to
find out what Hadeya wants to drink, and then the waitress scoots off. It
might take a moment to realize that Renna wasn't just ordering Italian food,
but speaking Italian. Maybe that's why the waitress was smiling so much.
"There," Serenity turns her attention back to her guest. "I wish I could
do more," she notes, her tone more serious. "But getting you inside Aspen for the night would be problematic at best. Do you have a place to stay?"
Hadeya pauses and she nods a little, "I.. I think I do." She squirms a
bit, "I'm not really sure why I came out here," she blushes, "But I'm sorta glad I did... having met you..."
Serenity laces her fingers together and rests her chin on them, smiling
at the other girl. "I'm glad too." She starts to say something else, then is distracted by something across the restaurant floor. "I'll be riiiiight
back." With that she slips away and walks towards another table. There's no
obvious reason why she goes there, but she stops to talk to a a woman
wearing a black and yellow jacket.
Hadeya blinks and watches the other girl go off to talk to... who is
that? She watches quietly.Oddly, whatever she says seems to upset the man with the woman, but the
woman shushes him. The older woman looks for a long moment at Hadeya, then she and Serenity talk for a little longer. The woman shrugs out of the
jacket and hands it to the schoolgirl who smiles delightedly and gives the
woman a quick kiss on the cheek. A few moments later, she is back at the
table and hands the coat to Hadeya before sitting. Back at the other table,
the man seems to be protesting some more, but gets a response from his date
that shuts him up.
"There you go," Serenity grins. "Now you'll be somewhat covered tonight.
And it will look good with your mini-skirt and stockings." Hadeya ahs and blushes, looking down at the new jacket. "W.. wow... thank
you, Serenity," she murmurs and puts it on, looking down at the jacket again and then back at the other person. "Do you... know her?"
"Not really, but she comes in here a lot," replies the other girl. "I
guess she's as nice as she always seemed... I barely had to talk her into it after I told her you had been robbed." She tilts her head, seeming to listen
to something. "I think she's going to dump that guy. She doesn't seem to
like him objecting so much." She gives a little nod. "Good for her. He's
cheating on her anyway."
Hadeya giggles softly and asks, "How... do you know all that? Does she go
to... to that school, Aspen?" "Huh?" Serenity seems surprised, then laughs softly as she shakes her
head. "No. I could tell by the scents. He's recently had sex with someone that was definitely not her."
Hadeya blushes, "Aah..." she nods slightly. She looks down into her lap
at... something? But it seems hidden under the table, if there is indeed anything there. Soon she looks back up again -- maybe it was nothing -- "So
you can... smell really well?"
"Yeah," Serenity replies. "All my senses are unusually.... sharp." She
glances away for a moment. "That change thing I mentioned earlier." Hadeya nods and hesitates, blushing, "I... um... th-there's something
changed in me, too... but I'm sorta confused..." Serenity looks back, tilting her head. If there's one thing that'll catch
her attention it's a puzzle. "Sorta confused?" she quotes. "How so?" Hadeya says, "It.. I mean..." she pauses. "Just now... it's... it's not
working as well..." And now Serenity is puzzled as well. "What isn't working as well?" She
considers her own senses... they seem to be in working order. "I'm afraid I don't understand."
Hadeya squirms, "I mean, my... my... um... wh-what I can do..."
Serenity's lips purse as she watches all that squrming. "Umm... does it
have something to do with sex?" Her cheeks redden as that brings to mind the Serenity's lips purse as she watches all that squrming. "Umm... does it
memory of what she saw earlier under a twirling skirt. "Inside the
restaurant probably isn't the best place..."
Hadeya shakes her head, "N... no, no, i-it doesn't," she blushes. "At
least, I... don't think it does..?" The other girl leans forward, her eyes shimmering. Stray bits of light
dance within her irises. "You're going to have to tell me more," she grins. "'Cause I have no idea what you're talking about."
Richards arrives from California -- Interstate 5: Los Diablos Area
Hadeya pauses, "Nngh... um... well... I-I can..." she holds her hands up,
palms toward Serenity, and they're glowing feebly blue-green. Hadeya pauses, "Nngh... um... well... I-I can..." she holds her hands up,
It's a nice enough place, as restaurants in strip malls go. Probably
helps that the shopping center is at the edge of a wealthy part of town. That probably explains all the uniformed school girls scattered in groups
that are being wooed by teenage boys outside, the number of high-end cars in
the parking lot, and the amount of Real Wood used in the construction of the
center.
Inside the restaurant, the atmosphere is quite relaxed, with a scattering
of ages present. Most of the people are in their late twenties to middle ages, though a couple tables have schoolgirls. One booth in the back has a
couple girls, only one of which is wearing a uniform.
"I take it they usually do more than that?" Serenity asks the girl across
from her. She purses her lips slightly. "When was the last time they did... what they were supposed to?"
Richards has pulled into the parking lot outside in his government issue
SUV, and climbs out of it slowly, flicking a cigarette to the ground and pressing and grinding it against the concrete to put it out, moving on a
straight bee-line like a man who knows exactly where what he's looking for
is, heading into the restaurant and pushing through the door.
Hadeya nods, "They... um, well, they just kinda started acting up," she
blushes, "when that... that guy kidnapped me." Serenity nods. "Yeah. I've read that a traumatic experience can often
trigger Jupiter abilities to surface. Do you, like, shoot fireballs or something?"
Hadeya nods a little, "S.. sort of. I-it's not just that, I... I flew
once..." "Flying?" Serenity's eyes seem to flash with even more inner light.
"That's amazing. I mean, it would be so much fun." She sighs. Sets her chin back onto her laced fingers.
Richards glances over the place for only a second, brusquely pushing past
any maitre'd and heading around the corner towards Serenity and Hadeya's table, "Hey girls." The words, while neutral in emotional coloring, are said
in a somewhat exasperated tone.
Hadeya is wearing a jacket more than last he saw her -- and, um, a
little more too, but... "H.. hi," she says softly. She was going to respond to Serenity, but since Richards appeared, she'd been interrupted.
Serenity wrinkles her nose, catching a hint of cigarette smoke in the
air. A rarity in this health-concious neighborhood. It's enough of a reminder that she's not overly surpised at who shows up at their table.
"Hello..." Her tone is polite, though curious. The facets of her eyes
glitter in the reflected light of the fake candles in the booth.
"You left." Richards says simply, glancing over Hadeya's much more
covered body, and then looking over to Serenity for a moment, giving her a little nod and a smile, "Hey short-stack, how are you?"
Hadeya nods, "Ah.. um... y-yeah.... sorry," she says quietly, not sure
what else to say; she's a little nervous, and maybe even quieter than normal -- if that's possible.
"Well enough," Serenity retorts. There's a touch of protectiveness to her
gaze as she looks between her companion and the agent. She reaches across the table to put her hand against the other girl's. "Hadeya? This wasn't the
man that...?"
Hadeya blushes and shakes her head, "Ah! N-n-no! I-it.... wasn't him,
no," she says. "What, am I the guy that's probably going to finish ruining her life or
just outright killing her if I find her out wandering around alone and defenseless? No, that's not me. I'm just the schmuck who was trying to give
her a safe place to stay where she could stay /away/ from that guy."
Richards says in a dry tone of voice, crisp british accent trying to hammer
home his point. "You know, except she left."
Serenity starts to retort angerly, but restrains herself. She takes a
breath instead, lets it out. "Look, I don't know what happened," she states. "But I do know she's getting some food, and wearing some clothes, and not
being yelled at. All of which I think are quite important at the moment."
The waitress approaching with several plates may agree with at least one of
those points.
Hadeya blushes, squirming a little uncomfortably.. "I... I-I'm sorry,"
she mumbles, "I f-felt like... a burden," she continues, looking up at the incoming food, realizing she does right now, too..
Richards shrugs his shoulders turning to Serenity, giving the the kind of
look that says 'whatever kid' as he flips his tie back down and smoothed into place, "I'm not yelling. Who's yelling?" He points out idly, then turns
back to Hadeya, "I give two shits less how you feel, as long as your status
stays 'breathing, in one piece, and safe'."
"I have to agree with that," the blue-haired girl replies. She glances at
Hadeya. "And you /are/ going to eat," she tells her. She glances at the agent, hesitates, then gives a mental shrug. "Will you join us?"
Hadeya watches the waitress maneuver around Richards to put the plates
down on the table, she wonders if she'd've even been able to eat half that much.
"Thanks for asking, it saves me the trouble of /telling/ you I'm going to
join you." Richards moves and pulls a chair over from a nearby table, setting it at the head of this one so he can sit and watch both Hadeya and
the blue-haired Serenity, pulling a cigarette from his pocket.
"There's no smoking in here," Serenity points out. "I think it's a law or
something," she smiles, just a bit. Though not a smirk. [Fade to End Credits]
Rocky introductions get off to a rocky dinner (though the calamari, as
Serenity promised, was quite good.) Eventually Richards takes Hadeya
