This game has several base purposes. In no particular order:
It is meant to give players a wider choice about the actions they can
role play with their characters.
It is a super-powers game, where both hero and villain tend to be equal
in 'popularity'. The focus isn't so much on Heros and Villains, but on
power and popularity.
The theme is aimed at an oddball mixture of golden-age, surreal, and
modern-techno, almost cyberpunk, and even horror. A bit for everyone. :)
When it comes down to it, the game's purpose is for people to have fun in
a setting that allows for a lot of diversity.
