The Jupiter Event happened 20 years ago in game time. Does that mean all
meta-humans have to be under 20 or have had their powers 20 years or less?
Not at all! Meta-humans can be all sorts of ages and have had their meta-
abilities manifest at any time or age. Some metas even seem convinced
they've had powers long before the JE.
While most people presume those metas to be delusional, there are those
that think otherwise. The interesting thing is that there doesn't seem
proof either way. Johan, for example, could have a memory that goes back
300 years, fully detailed. He could even go and find things 'now' that
no one without those memories should be able to. Could even find other
supporting evidence, such as photos or written records, that seem to show
he existed hundreds of years. Sounds like proof, doesn't it?
Here's the kicker... someone else could just as easily find overwhelming
evidence that he didn't.
There's theories that the JE has altered history in minor ways... but no
one is sure since, well, how can one prove history was altered? Catch 22.
