The OWGO was very close to successfully creating a central government for the planet Earth. Because both China and the United States wanted to remain independent, the OWGO's bid broke down. As it stands right now, countries that were on the fence are waiting to see if they need to join China and America in the third world war, or if one or both countries are going to stand down and let the One World Government concept pass.
OWGO is not resting on its laurels. It is attempting to destabilize both the USA and China, and any other country that it thinks will resist its attempt to create a unified Earth government. Because of the power of the OWGO, it is rumored and feared, though not confirmed, that the powers behind it are a consortium of Metas. Whether this is actually the truth or just perpetuated misinformation is something that will have to be explored through game play.
