Jupiter's Children: DayOneCorporateInterests

Corporations are a major factor in the City of Los Angeles, and everywhere in the United States and abroad. With the instability of the national government, corporations have merged and become Mega Multi-International. The power they wield is enormous. Also, corporations protect the rights of Metas who have lost their rights as citizens through registration. Therefore many Metas have their own corporations. While initially many Metas only incorporated in order to have some rights, they have found a way to turn a profit. Every character in the game can own their own company, or can hold a powerful position in a large national or multi-national company. Many Shadow Metas high behind the actions of their companies, and nobody really knows who runs them.
