Most places put a limit on the number of characters a player can have, and
this one does as well. You can have as many characters for which you can
reasonably devote time to play. Characters that don't see much activity
that contribute to the game as a whole will come under scrutiny and the
owning player will be made fun of, teased, and possibly spanked. Usually
by the other players rather than staff.
The main point is that the staff doesn't want concepts and character
logins lying around the place like cordwood... We're happy to let people
play a lot of characters. But that doesn't mean that people should take
advantage of it just for the extra logins and waste the time of everyone
in the app process. Bad player! No donut!
In short: think twice before creating more than five characters. Or eight.
Definitely think twice after ten.
