Sometimes you figure you might want to change a skill, or personality
attribute, or something in your background. Go ahead. Just keep things
within theme, the same as during character generation.
If you don't want to keep a record of previous traits, just use the cset
command to overwrite the current information.
If you do want to keep a record, then it's a bit more tricky. You have to
set the revisions by hand. See the discussion for revising traits in 'news
tutorials revising' While a bit difficult, revising traits rather than
overwriting them is encouraged.
Because of this system, other players can see the progression of a
character... And they will also know when a character changed. It's a
subtle way of regulating the change, through RP or sudden necessaty, of a
character. It's a great way of presenting a sense of history for a
character.
