Born in Washington state, she hasn't been back there for more than a week or two since she began college several years ago, although her family remains in touch. One of those for whom the sun of California has been an irristible attraction.
She is currently studying Vet Nursing part time, is a member of the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens (where she can often be found wandering or observing the people and animlas), as well as teaching some introductory and 'Interest' courses in various crafts at the local college. Her 'Jewelry For Everyone' class is usually full, teaching the basics of beadwork, chainmail, and other techniques to those who are interested. A number of students have gone on to more formal vocational training, and their grasp of basic skills has been generally noted by their teachers as 'above average'.
